Lingua di insegnamento | INGLESE |
Contenuti | 1.

Textbook and course materials | No textbook available. The material will be provided by the Porfessors. |
Course objectives | The student will have to know in depth the most frequent and relevant malformations of the various systems. Know the basics of diagnosis and treatment. Know the most recent scientific methodology on some chosen pathologies such as Pre-Eclampsia, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, and others that will be treated during the lessons. Know the latest non-invasive diagnostic strategies. |
Prerequisites | basic embryology knowledge |
Teaching methods | Lectures, seminars and working groups. Students will have to research fetal malformations and present them to the class. |
Evaluation methods | The assessment of learning consists of two phases. The first phase consists of a research that the student must perform on a malformation agreed with the teacher. This work includes the writing of a text and a presentation to be given to the whole class of students. The second band consists of an oral test in which the student will have to demonstrate that he has understood the basic concepts of etiology, molecular pathways and mechanisms involved in the various pathologies treated in class. |
