Contenuti | Il corso affronta i temi cardine della psicologia generale partendo dalle diverse prospettive teoriche e metodologie (2h), per poi affronatre piú da vicino i diversi processi cognitivi quali percezione (2h), attenzione (2h), apprendimento e memoria (2h), pensiero e ragionamento (2h). |

Obiettivi formativi | Il corso offre una panoramica sulle conoscenze nell’ambito della psicologia generale. Alla fine del corso lo studente avrà appreso il funzionamento dei processi cognitivi alla base del funzionamento della mente umana, nonché i diversi approcci teorici e le relative metodologie in grado di spiegare ed investigare tali processi. |

Metodi di valutazione | Il test si compone di 15 domande, ciascuna con tre possibili alternative (A, B, C), di cui una sola è corretta. Il tempo a disposizione è di 30 minuti. Le risposte sbagliate non vengono computate ai fini del punteggio totale. Il punteggio totale si basa sul numero delle risposte corrette. Per ogni risposta corretta saranno assegnati due punti. La prova si considera superata in presenza di 9 risposte corrette (punteggio di 18). |

Contents | The course deals with the main topics of general psychology starting from the different theoretical perspectives and methodologies (2h), and then addressing more closely the different cognitive processes such as perception (2h), attention (2h), learning and memory (2h), thought and reasoning (2h). |

Course objectives | The course offers an overview of the main themes in general psychology. At the end of the course the student will have learned how the different cognitive processes work, as well as the different theoretical approaches and methodologies able to explain and investigate these processes. |

Evaluation methods | The test consists of 15 questions, each with three possible alternatives (A, B, C), only one is correct. The time available is 30 minutes. Wrong answers are not counted. The total score is based on the number of correct answers. Two points will be awarded for each correct answer. 9 correct answers (score of 18) are sufficient to pass the exam. |
