    Tutto il materiale del corso è stato redatto dai docenti ed è disponibile in fascicoli fotocopiati da ritirare al negozio di fotocopie in zona.

    Obiettivi formativi

    Sviluppo delle abilità di lettura e di ascolto attraverso la comprensione di testi tecnici inerenti alla pratica di fisioterapia
    Acquisizione di uno specifico lessico e di forme grammaticali adatte ad esprimere il contesto medico professionale
    Sviluppo della produzione orale

    Metodologie didattiche

    Approccio comunicativo attraverso sessioni plenarie: il docente è disponibile per eventuali consultazioni durante uno sportello settimanale.

    Metodi di valutazione

    Svolgimento di un test finale (sui contenuti dell'intero corso). La prova scritta dura un ora e viene svolto in un aula universitaria. E’ prevista una combinazione di diverse tipologie (es. lettura dei brani con domanda a risposta multipla/vero/falso/sulla comprensione del testo, completare le frasi/ abbinare le frasi per la forma del verbo o espressioni lessicali).
    Non è consentito consultare vocabolari o materiali didattici durante la prova.
    Esito : idoneo/non idoneo 2 crediti

    Textbook and course materials

    Course materials are written specifically by the teacher and are available spiral bound from a local shop.

    Course objectives

    Development of reading skills to comprehend simple technical and non-technical texts related to the work of a physiotherapist
    Acquisition of vocabulary and grammatical forms typical of simple scientific texts.
    Development of speaking skills to interact in a professional consultation with a patient.

    A2 (CEFR) level of English

    The Communicative Approach
    The course teacher is available for a weekly tutorial

    Evaluation methods

    Final written test (based on course content).
    The test lasts an hour and is held in a university classroom. There are a variety of different task types (reading comprehension with multiple choice/true false answers, Complete phrases or short texts with appropriate verb forms or lexis.) use of course materials or a dictionary is not permitted.
    Pass/fail: 2 credits
