    Course objectives

    -Learning the major clinical/serological abrnormalities requiring an immunological assessment of the patient;
    -learning how to identify signs and symptoms during history collection;
    -learning the tools to perform a correct physical examination devoted to confirm/exclude an allergic/immunological diseases

    Prerequisites

    - Anatomy, General Physiology and Pathophysiology;
    - Basic knowledge of Medical Semeiotics;
    - Basic knowledge of Laboratory Medicine.

    Course Syllabus

    Inspection to look for:
    Skin and/or mucosal lesions consistent with immune-mediated diseases.
    Physical examination to look for:
    skin and/or mucosal lesions consistent with immunological diseases;

    findings of inflammatory articular disease;

    findings of systemic involvement in immune-mediated diseases


    -Laboratory data interpretation to look for:
    a. abnormalities in the immune-inflammatory response and/or autoimmune phenomena;
