Lo studente acquisisce conoscenze di base relative alle principali patologie di interesse chirurgico toracico, traumatiche e oncologiche, e ai principi di diagnosi e trattamento chirurgico. Dimostra comprensione dei percorsi clinico-assistenziali perioperatori e dei principi di valutazione del paziente chirurgico.
CAPACITÀ DI APPLICARE CONOSCENZA E COMPRENSIONE
Lo studente è in grado di raccogliere anamnesi mirata, riconoscere segni e sintomi delle principali patologie toraciche e partecipare al percorso diagnostico-terapeutico e alla gestione perioperatoria sotto supervisione. Contribuisce alle attività di reparto e all’osservazione delle procedure chirurgiche.
AUTONOMIA DI GIUDIZIO
Lo studente riconosce situazioni cliniche rilevanti, incluse condizioni acute e potenzialmente critiche, e valuta gli elementi essenziali per l’inquadramento clinico e chirurgico, nel rispetto delle indicazioni del tutor.

Lo studente comunica in modo chiaro ed efficace con il paziente chirurgico e collabora con il team multidisciplinare, dimostrando capacità di interazione nel contesto perioperatorio.

Lo studente sviluppa capacità di apprendimento autonomo, integra conoscenze cliniche e chirurgiche e utilizza il feedback per migliorare la propria pratica

conoscenze di anatomia umana, fisiologia e fisiopatologia generale;
Principi di Semeiotica Medica; Principi di Medicina di Laboratorio.

Le attività formative sono svolte in contesti clinico-assistenziali reali e prevedono: attività di bedside teaching; discussione guidata di casi clinici, con particolare attenzione ai quadri complessi; problem-solving; utilizzo e analisi di linee guida e protocolli terapeutici; coinvolgimento progressivo dello studente nelle attività assistenziali secondo un modello di responsabilità crescente; utilizzo di strumenti di tracciamento delle competenze (booklet); feedback formativo continuo e strutturato da parte dei tutor clinici. Le competenze acquisite sono documentate e validate tramite booklet e valutazione diretta da parte del tutor. La frequenza è obbligatoria per poter accedere alla prova finale di valutazione

La verifica dell’apprendimento avviene attraverso una valutazione continua e integrata delle competenze acquisite: osservazione diretta delle attività cliniche mediante strumenti strutturati; valutazione della capacità di gestione di casi clinici, anche attraverso discussione orale strutturata; verifica delle competenze; revisione del booklet, con documentazione delle attività svolte; valutazione del comportamento professionale, incluse capacità relazionali, etiche e di lavoro in team. Il giudizio finale è espresso in termini di idoneità ed è basato sul raggiungimento degli obiettivi formativi previsti

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
Students acquire basic knowledge of thoracic surgical diseases, including traumatic and oncological conditions, and principles of surgical diagnosis and treatment. They demonstrate understanding of perioperative clinical pathways and principles of surgical patient assessment.
APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
Students are able to collect a targeted medical history, recognize signs and symptoms of major thoracic conditions, and participate in diagnostic-therapeutic pathways and perioperative management under supervision. They contribute to ward activities and observe surgical procedures.
MAKING JUDGMENTS
Students recognize clinically relevant conditions, including acute and potentially life-threatening situations, and evaluate key elements for clinical and surgical assessment under supervision.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Students communicate clearly and effectively with surgical patients and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, demonstrating appropriate interaction in the perioperative setting.
LEARNING SKILLS
Students develop autonomous learning skills, integrate clinical and surgical knowledge, and use feedback to improve their practice

Knowledges of Human Anatomy, Physiology and General Physiopathology;
Principles of Medical Semeiotics; Principles of Laboratory Medicine.

The training activities are carried out in real-world clinical-care settings and include: bedside teaching activities in clinics and management departments; guided discussion of clinical cases, with particular attention to complex frameworks; problem-solving; use and analysis of therapeutic guidelines and protocols; and progressive student involvement in care activities according to a model of increasing responsibility; use of skills tracking tools (booklets); continuous and structured training feedback from clinical tutors. The skills acquired are documented and validated through booklets and direct evaluation by the tutor. Attendance is compulsory in order to gain access to the final evaluation test

Learning assessment occurs through a continuous and integrated assessment of acquired skills: direct observation of clinical activities using structured tools; assessment of clinical case management skills, including structured oral discussion; assessment of practical skills; review of the booklet, documenting the activities performed; and assessment of professional behavior, including relational, ethical, and teamwork skills. The final judgment is expressed in terms of suitability and is based on the achievement of the intended training objectives
